Illustrative Blackwork

Guido is a tattoo artist with a lifelong passion for art, inspired early on by his mother, a professional artist. From a young age, he knew he wanted a creative career, but it wasn’t until after high school that he began to take that path seriously.

He enrolled in Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Illustration program, but quickly realized that traditional schooling wasn’t for him. In his third year, driven by a growing fascination with tattooing, Guido decided to leave school and pursue his true passion. He began his tattoo journey with an apprenticeship in 2019.

Since then, Guido has developed a unique illustrative blackwork style, drawing influence from neo-traditional and Japanese art. He specializes in bold, medium to large-scale pieces ensuring his compositions always have high contrast, interesting textures, and great movement/flow with the body
